What were you doing before you made contact with Many Rivers?
I was working a job for an Aboriginal Corporation, the pay was really low and I was not feeling fulfilled in life with where I really wanted to be. I was busking and painting in my spare time, this is what I really love to do.

What is your previous work history and experience?
Like most people in life I suppose, I did what I had to do to make some sort of a living. I never really felt fulfilled in life or what I was supposed to be doing. I had overcome some big life barriers a couple of years ago and I was becoming restless and really wanting to go somewhere in life.

Who referred you to Many Rivers? When?
Lindsay from Many Rivers noticed me busking on my didgeridoo at the Port Douglas Markets. He waited and listened to my music and waited until I had a break and introduced himself to me. Timielle Hill is a young, talented Indigenous woman with a love of music who had an idea of commencing a Disc Jockey business in Gayndah, a rural town 160km south-west of Bundaberg. Many Rivers supported Timielle with research on insurance requirements, permits and equipment and also a loan to purchase the basics to commence her business. Two years on, the business is operating well with a regular Friday Night gig at the local hotel. Timielle also performs at campdrafts, Christmas parties and gigs in Bundaberg. What were you doing before you made contact with Many Rivers?
I was working as a Trainer and Assessor with East Kimberley Job Pathways, training people in Certificate II in Agriculture and also Horse Training, which included horse-breaking, tractor operating and mustering.

What is your previous work history and experience?
I grew up working on stations, a horse breaker by trade. I’ve worked on many stations throughout the Kimberley and Northern Territory.

Who referred you to Many Rivers? When?

Just running a small mechanical business in town.
